Puerto de Alcudia

New construction for a spanish owner

For cost reasons, the exterior masonry was built with Poroton / Thermoarcilla.

In this construction project, German and Spanish methods of construction were combined. The crawl space was created with traditional Spanish alveolar plates. The Spaniard roofing manufacturer filigree with German license, denied ceilings filigree assigned by the engineer as it meant a substantial increase in slab thickness, was for the owners of the house to save costs, finally the roof was closed without
ceilings filigree, designed as a reinforced concrete slab.

Floating floor with sound insulation made
as a normal practice in Germany, in this house of Mallorca was a novelty.

The ceiling was a huge roof made with Ytong, created with a good level of thermal insulation to avoid cold thermal bridges.

All possible cold thermal bridges were detailed and planned and the house (for Mallorca also a novelty) was built without cold thermal bridges.
The windows are made of heat insulated glass imported from Germany.

A tank of rainwater was installed with self-cleaning filter.

The exterior and interior plaster is lime-based plaster of a Mallorcan company.

For cost reasons, the owner did not install heating system.

Except for the windows, the whole house was built by Spanish experts and specialists.
