Stephan Wächter is the Managing Director ofVenusarchitecture.
He has worked since 1998 as registered architect and arquitecto tecnico. He is approved as an expert surveyor by the Spanish courts and officially recognized in Germany as a surveyor of thermal and sound insulation.
He was born in Bielefeld and completed his study of architecture in Germany. His philosophy has been shaped by both his extensive knowledge of practical experience (mason i.a.) and also his deep interest in ecology and a holistic approach. As a student he designed, planned and built a house in traditional Mogulstyle with cupola and vault in the spiritual community of “Auroville” in South India for english clients.
From 1991 until 1998 he worked as independent architect in Germany, where he was able to employ ecological construction techniques for all his building projects.
Since 1998 Stefan Wächter has been a member of the Chamber of Architects of the Balearic Islands and the only German registered on the list of surveyors of the Chamber of Architects of the Balearic Islands. Since 2013 he has also been a member of the Chamber of Technical Architects of the Balearic Islands.
